Description
Art for Alzheimer’s Disease
We can participate in art in two different ways; we can create it or we can enjoy it. Painting with watercolors is an example of creating art. A visit to an art museum or looking through a book of art prints are examples of enjoying art. Both of these activities are therapeutic for people who have Alzheimer’s disease.
Art creation, especially in this context, can be thought to be an activity that involves our creativity and provides some sensory feedback.
