PicLink is a multi-game set of 36 tiles designed specifically for use by people with cognitive and memory impairment; but it is a wonderful game for young children and children with developmental disabilities as well. The games, though simple and fun for all ages and levels of ability, are based upon exercises that research has shown to assist in keeping minds limber and assisting with memory.

The Turn Fidget Widget is a specially designed fidget toy with a particular turning motion. A smooth wooden design that fits comfortably in the hands, invite someone with dementia to delight in the simple pleasure of winding the tool or practicing repetitive movements.

The Fidget Widget has been designed in collaboration with the Alzheimer's Society and the University of Central Lancashire, to improve the well-being of people in the later stages of dementia, by supporting their psychological needs to feel occupied, engaged and included in a meaningful activity of their choice.

The Turn Fidget Widget engages touch, feel, and repetitive movements to calm and engage with busy hands and unsettled minds. As there is no right or wrong way to use the Fidget Widget, users can use their creativity to explore and interact with the tool.

This puzzle consists of thirty five pieces that can be assembled within the specially printed frame. The backing board contains an imprint of the each puzzle piece as it relates to a sepia toned version of the image to encourage users.

The items in our Totes come in this handy tote bag for easy transport. Folder, pen and beverage not included. We didn't plan to sell this item individually, but libraries are ordering it to create their own themed totes. YAY!
