Sensory Stimulation and Sensory Activity Pads
Our Gel-Filled Sensory Stimulation Pads come in a variety of sizes, shapes, and colors, and are designed to calm agitation by providing visual and tactile stimulation. All are covered in durable vinyl and filled with a safe, water-based gel which provides tactile interest and comfort. The pads contain glittery stars that respond to touch adding an appealing visual activity that reinforces eye-hand coordination.
Easy Care
The heat sealed gel pad can be wiped clean with a damp towel or disinfectant. It shouldn’t be laundered. Although the gel is non-toxic, the pad should be discarded if any tears are discovered. The gel and vinyl are phthalate compliant but should not be eaten or chewed.
The pads can be heated to provide further comfort to hands.

Weighted Gel Lap Pad –
I bought this product for my Dad with Dementia because he needed something to occupy this hands. He liked rubbing his hands on the gel pad and the weight helped to keep him seated in his chair at the nursing home. I have gotten him two of these and both of them came unsealed at the same place and the gel got all over him. You can tell that the hole is where the gel was filled in at and then spot comes unsealed — just a small slot of about 1/2 inch. If this could be corrected, I’d keep him one all the time but after 2 months, each one begins to leak. Not good for a Dementia patient. Dad doesn’t understand why it leaks and gets upset that he is covered in the gel.
